Our New site
gobo.ie is about to go
live. It will soon become Ireland's best location for the sourcing of stock and
custom gobo's.
We are also about to enter the rental
market supplying equipment and custom artwork to your event .
We especially welcome a new market
segment, the Bride and Groom ! Over the past year we have received many phone
calls enquiring as to how a couple can have their Monograms beamed across the
dancefloor on their big day. Come to think of it, we can beam your chosen image
across the whole hotel if you wish.
While previously we could only assist you
with the provision of the Gobo itself we have now begun to invest in the
projectors required to deliver your chosen effect.

Loughrea Hotel And Spa Co. Galway
Back in March
2008 McDonnell Systems Ltd were awarded this prestigious contract to supply all
the lighting and Audio Visual Components to this cutting edge Conference and
Banqueting Facility.
Loughrea Hotel and Spa represents
the state of the art in online supported technology with all the systems we
provided being remotely monitored and controlled from our office in Dublin. Any
adjustments to the system can be made over the internet with minimal effort and
to date has proven extremely advantageous for both McDonnell Systems and the
Hotel's Operator , Mr. Brian O'Shaughnessy.
We wish the new Hotel and It's
staff the very best of Luck in the future.

Panasonic
unveils The Worlds Largest Plasma Screen to date.
Every year, we
attend the Integrated System Europe showcase in Amsterdam ,Holland. By attending
these sort of events we can keep abreast with all the new technology and trends
effecting our industry.
We had an idea
that Panasonic Plasma division had something big planned for us at this years
show but nothing could prepare us for just how big!

12ft 6inches corner to corner.
We have no
accurate pricing as yet for this behemoth but we're sure that their "smaller"
plasma screen at 107" should be big enough for even the most well heeled client

completed the full Design and Installation of a comprehensive Dynalite
Dimming system at Lough Erne Golf Resort in Enniskillen.
A Member of the Preferred Hotels
and Resorts chain and operated by Hotel Partners. Lough Erne Golf resort
sets a new benchmark in luxury Hotel Developments.
The lighting system itself is
monitored and maintained from our offices here in Dublin.

Hubertus AV furniture
McDonnell Systems have just been
appointed Irish distributor for the Hubertus range of AV furniture from
Poland.
Discovered at this year's ISE
show in Amsterdam , Hubertus creates first class furniture for flat screen
TV's .No more do you have to choose between fitting the screen to the wall
or standing on a press, Hubertus stands allow the screen to be "mounted" on
to the furniture. Needless to say they do provide a full range of moveable
glass and timber stands.

Krystle Nightclub Harcourt St.

Systems Ltd have just completed the Video system installation at Krystle
Harcourt St.
-
The video
system comprises 11 plasma screens controlled from a central video controller
allowing high quality signal routing of sports programming or digital signage
content to any or all the screens. The system is also enabled for live playback
of live video feeds should there be a camera crew in-house as is the case at
many of Krystle's launch parties. This system is also optimised for Video Jockey
(VJ) use .

club marks our first Novelty installation of a flat screen, having installed a
37" screen in the ceiling of the VIP suite ! as you can see pictures were taken
during the day , we imagine this must be fun on the weekends !

Court "Meeting Excellence" Facility

Purpose
built meeting room facility gets full conference package and Dynalite Dimming
System

We have
just fit-out 3 large conference rooms with fully integrated Audio and video
systems with a lighting system from Dynalite tied in with the conference
controls.

While
each conference room has its own dedicated control , the conference managers
have whole house control from the booking suite enabling "all-off" control and
system diagnostics, lamp warnings etc.

Radio
City and Isaac Butt Live venue get a new sound for their newly refurbished
Venue.

McDonnell
Systems Ltd have recently completed their largest install yet at this famous
venue located on Store St. Dublin1

The
installation comprised of a multi-zone audio system based across three floors at
the venue.Ground floor received a full NEXO PS 8 and 10 sound system controlled
via Soundweb processing while the Live venue in the basement received what can
only be called a wish list of audio components for in-house sound engineer Andy
Colbert.

In the
live venue , namely Radio City we installed a full D&B rig ,Midas Legend desk
,full monitoring system from Acoustic Line and specialist lighting by Robe and
Pulsar lighting.

The third
floor has a full remote booth for offsite mixing and monitoring of any event
that may need to be recorded for broadcast use .

BiaBar gets the
"works" from McDonnell Systems.

Newly opened Biabar on
Dublin's Stephen St. represents a growing number of "total fit-outs" in our
growing portfolio.

In conjunction with McNally
Design one of Ireland's premier pub/club design companies we provided every
technical discipline, from electrical emergency and fire system installation to
a fully integrated PULSAR lighting system providing one-touch control of all
light fittings and PULSAR's Chroma range of colour changing lighting. This venue
further benefits from longer lamp life and reduced power bills using energy
efficient presets.

Biabar presents the first
use of flexible high output LED strip lighting within the aptly named Classical
room.

Lastly but by no means least
nothing was left to chance by the installation of our most powerful NEXO sound
system yet. Take a trip to Dublin and have a listen , linked behind the scenes
to ROLEC's LHD-3 background music system music quality and programming is
premium.

The New GRIVEN LED Colour Changing Flood Light.

A new
product discovered at its launch at PLASA Earl's Court ,finally reaches Irish
shores to excellent effect.

Newly
installed at The Mariner Pub on Quay Street Drogheda ,Co. Louth The Griven Dawn
Fixture provided massive visual impact to an already popular watering hole on
Drogheda's Riverside.The owner of the Mariner, fully understanding the changing
face of Drogheda's riverfront area realised the importance of using the whole
frontage of his premises to create a warm and interesting look to an otherwise
un-used part of the building. Driving across the bridge in Drogheda Town
centre ( opposite Wogan Interiors ) It would be hard to miss the Mariner with
its constantly changing appearance. The Griven Dawn luminaire can generate a
possible 16 million colours including intense whites if required. Rather than use
the onboard electronics already built into all Dawn fittings ,Mc Donnell Systems
Ltd provided external control via a 30 Scene 3 chase DMX sequencer. Staff
at The Mariner while normally running the lighting in standard colour chasing
mode can also select static colouring depending on the promotions currently
running at The Mariner.

As a
testimony to the versatility of these fixtures, should there be an important
Irish sporting fixture in the offing The Mariner's staff can colour the building in a
colour wash similar to the Irish Tricolour !

McDonnell Systems lands prestigious sound install for the RíRá chain of Irish
pubs in Washington DC . U.S.A.
-
Mid. September last McDonnell Systems completed our largest NEXO ps8
installation to date. Having heard NEXO's amazing rocket of a speaker system
that is the PS8 and LS400 at The Pound Bar in Swords Co. Dublin management of
RíRá requested that the same install be undertaken Stateside.

As is normally the case with NEXO staff and management were duly impressed with
the astonishing clarity and power of the system.All music for this system was
provided by the Rolec LHD-3 background music system.
